King Owen is the last king of Yorevale. The Prologue begins right after his untimely and suspicious death, and a fight for his crown, or at least the power he wielded over the land, is a driving force of many of the characters - and factions - appearing in the game. Over the course of the game the protagonist too becomes involved in the conflict and his decisions affect the fate of the king-less kingdom.
