Story
The story of the prologue revolves around the main protagonist and his uncle Martyn and the troubles brought on by duke Rockburry. The story introduces also one of the main story characters, Renmy, who comes to the protagonist's rescue.
Game Mechanics
The Prologue introduces the overarching story of Crossroads Inn. The player learns basic controls and user interface (UI), and is introduced to the basics of tavern management.
The Prologue uses a series of objectives to be completed by the player to learn how to expand the tavern, place equipment and other objects, hire workers, order supplies, and use the Menu to provide basic services to tavern patrons (drinks, food, etc.).
